Handling my grumpy male Playa Hermosa Costa Rican Boa.
My new male Playa Hermosa Boa Constrictor. He has a bit of an attitude problem, and I am still working to get him to calm down. Also working to get him to breed. I think getting behind this tub like I did at the start of the video might just be the stupidest thing I have ever done with snakes. I just got lucky and didn’t get bit repeatedly in the crotch. When dealing with normally nippy snakes it’s a real bad idea to position yourself in a place with no easy exits that don’t involve injuring the snake, and that’s exactly what I did before I caught myself.
